Odisha Governor takes stock of development in Koraput

Koraput: Odisha Governor Professor Ganeshi Lal on Wednesday visited Koraput district, to take stock of various developmental projects, on the third day of his four-day visit to southern districts of the state.

Lal, during the tour, visited the Ekalavya Vidyalaya under Kunduli panchayat, local SHGs, the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), the Central University of Orissa, and the Saheed Laxman Naik Medical College Hospital (SLNMCH).

Following the Governor’s visit to the district, an administrative meeting was also held under Lal’s chairmanship where several key issues were discussed and reviewed.

Among others, Koraput Collector K Sudarshan Chakrabarti, district labour officer Bishal Kanwar Singh, Koraput MP Jhina Hikka, Patangi MLA Prafulla Pangi were present.

 Malkangiri,Nabarangpur and Rayagada are also in the Governor’s itinerary.
