Odisha Government to set up Ropeways At Five Tourist Sites

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Odisha Government to set up ropeways at five tourist sites in the state to give tourism a boost in the state.
Dhauli on Bhubaneswar outskirts, Panchalingeswar in Balasore, Kapilash in Dhenkanal, Nrusinganath in Bargarh, and Bhimkund in Mayurbhanj district are five tourist spots where the ropeways were going to be set up.
“A proper action plan has been prepared by the State Government. The project will be completed in 16 months. Moreover, the discussion is underway for setting up a ropeway at Puri-Konark tourist destination,” informed Tourism and Culture Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi.
He further informed that the construction of a ropeway between Puri and Konark is under consideration.
