Odisha Government effects IPS Reshuffle

Bhubaneswar,25-10-2018: Odisha government on Tuesday effected a minor IPS reshuffle.

The state government posted R.P. Singh, who is on repatriation from Central deputation, as D.G., Prisons & Director Correctional Services.

B.N. Jha Additional D.G. of Police, Prisons & Director Correctional Services has been attached to the home department of the state government.

Yatindra Koyal I.G. of Police, Vigilance posted as IG of Police, STF, CID, CB while Soorya Thankappan, Registrar, Sambalpur University is appointed as D.I.G. of Police, Vigilance.

Likewise, DIG of Police, STF, CID, CB Himansu Kumar Lal and Additional S.P, BPSPA, Bhubaneswar Pravakar Swain have been posted as D.I.G. of Police, SAP and I/c S.P., PTI, Byre  respectively.

The present Additional S.P of Sambalpur Srikrishna Behera has been posted as I/c AIG of Police, Marine, Bhubaneswar.

Anup Sahoo has been appointed Bhubaneswar DCP.
