Odisha girl shines in West Bengal , topped JEE Main.

An Odia girl shines in West Bengal, topped In the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), and emerged as a State topper.

Adyasha Patra has secured 99.99 percent in the JEE examination. She is a Plus 2 student of Manisha International School in Durgapur. She said blessings and support of her teachers, parents, and well-wishers helped her achieve the feat.

The topper further continued that she plans to pursue Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai.

Adyasha has also topped in State Talent Search Examination (STSE) and Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) exam.

Chinmay Patro, father of Adyasha is the General Manager of  Durgapur Steel Plant while her mother Babita Sahu is a lecturer at Triveni Devi Bhalotia College in Raniganj.
