Odisha flood: Chief Minister reviews situation

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today asked officials to speed up relief and restoration works on war footing in 10 districts under the RDC Northern Division affected by incessant rain over the last few days.

Patnaik, who visited the worst-affected, reviewed the relief and restoration works of flood affected areas at a high-level meeting, Patnaik said “I just had a review about the rainfall in 10 districts of the northern division. I have instructed the officers that wherever the damages have been done, it should be restored within 24 hours. And to keep us updated in Bhubaneswar how the matter progresses.”

The meeting attended by RDC (Northern) Dr V Swami, Collector Samarth Verma, SP Sanjeev Arora, MLAs Rajeswari Panigrahi and Ramesh Patua.
