Odisha: Double Murder, Two Women Hacked To Death

Paradip: In a disturbing incident, a young man reportedly used a sword to brutally murder two women in Paradip, a town in the Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha. The incident took place in the Expressway colony.

The accused has been identified as Chintu Nath, hailing from Balrampur village.

As per reports, the youth carried out a gruesome attack while under the influence of alcohol. However, the exact motive behind the attack remains unclear. One of the women tragically lost her life on the spot, while the other was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, despite receiving medical treatment, she succumbed to her injuries.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly arrived at the scene, recovered the bodies, and sent them for autopsy. Additionally, the authorities detained the accused individual. It is also alleged that Chintu Nath had been causing disturbances in the area for several days prior to the incident.
