Odisha Cabinet approves 10 proposals

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Cabinet gives nod to 10 proposals of seven departments on Friday in an attempt for the welfare of the people.

Informing about the decision taken during the meeting of the state Cabinet held yesterday to the members of the assembly today, the Chief Minister said that the Cabinet has given its approval for the simultaneous implementation of the Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana (GJAY) in the state.

The Cabinet yesterday took a historic decision that before the commencement of the Odisha Civil Services (Resettlement Assistance) Rules, 2020, all pending applications related to rehabilitation assistance will be considered as per the rules in force in 1990. This will enable the 1990 rules to be applicable to the families of employees who died before the 2020 rules came into force and employment will be provided under the 1990 rules under the Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme,” the CM informed.

These include:

  1. Implementation of Ayushman Bharat and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana including Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojana for people over 70 years of age
  2. All pending applications related to resettlement assistance before the commencement date of Odisha Civil Services (Resettlement Assistance) Rules, 2020 shall be considered as per the rules in force in 1990.
  3. State Road policy 2025
  4. Employment for family of deceased under Rehabilitation assistance Rules, 1990
  5. District Mining Foundation Rules 2025
  6. Odisha State Highways Authority bill
  7. One time settlement scheme for collection of arrears of water tax
  8. Vikashit Gaon Vikashit Odisha
  9. Odisha Revenue Service, Group-B Rules 2016.
