Odisha Administration Pandianised

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): A 2000-batch officer of Indian Administrative Service hailing from Southern zone, V Karthikeyan Pandian, has been Private Secretary to Odisha CM, Naveen Patnaik since 2011.  After the midnight operation held at Former Rajya Sabha member Pyarimohan Mohapatra’s residence in 2012, the political as well as administrative scenario of our State got a drastic turn and the face of V Kartikeyan Pandian was stormed out. He surprisingly visits places in various fields like tourist spots, spiritual institutions and various COVID-19 hospitals to review developmental works and to ensure all the support from the State govt.

The bureaucrat is now-a-days known as the ‘Super CM’ for his extraordinary authority, selfless work for the State and managing all the governmental programmes in well manner. Previously former Odisha Deputy CM Basanta Biswal was known as ‘Super CM’ for his prompt and speedy works. But this man is involves himself with all the developments of the State with bureaucratic row and without any desire or hope in politics. Referring his work style at the ‘third floor’, Pandian became the team leader, not only for the fellow bureaucrats even for Cabinet Ministers. Recently the high voltage drama by the opposition members in front of Naveen Nivas was successfully managed by this bureaucrat. In that scene Pandian was the mediator for a conference of the opposition with Naveen.

The hard work and positive efforts of the super bureaucrat help to double the power of CM Naveen. All the developmental projects of Odisha Government are personally reviewed by Mr.Pandian. There was no such private secretary to CM in the past, who sleeps at 12 midnight and starts his duties at 3am. Pandian, the man behind every success episodes of Naveen govt., got the highest authority in the govt, next to the CM.

Previously the super bureaucrat appointed as the 5T secretary of the govt, which includes all the departments of the administration. Some back biters are blaming him for his native and work style. But from the deep from their heart, all feel that the State never ever saw such kind of hard working government servant.
