Notorious criminal Kalu injured in police encounter

Notorious criminal Kalu Biswal geta injured in an encounter with police near Charimile Square in Aska area of Odisha’s Ganjam district today early morning. Kalu was on his way to Balipadar on a motorcycle, which lacked a number plate. Acting on a tip-off about his movement, a team of Aska police chased him says reports.

He has been admitted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital at Berhampur in the district for treatment. A mouser, 3 rounds of bullets and the motorcycle have been seized from his possession.
