Noted Music Composer Amarendra Mohanty Passes Away

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Noted Odia music  composer Amarendra Mohanty, who was infected with novel Coronavirus, died today.

Amarendra, a resident of Cuttack, was admitted to SUM Hospital after testing positive for the hazardous disease. However, he breathed his last at around 8 AM today.

Amarendra, who lent his voice for several Odia Bhajans, has worked as music composer in many superhit movies like Stree, Rama Laxman, Vasudha, Bhai Hela Bhagari, Suna Panjuri, Kandhei Akhire Luha and many more. He sought to fame after he composed the music for ‘Puchuki Gali Fashion Bali’ sung by Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam in the movie Suna Panjuri.
