Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Work is God, this term is completely suits to the Jajpur MLA and Organisational secretary Mr. Pranab Prakash Das (Bobby). This man is playing a vital role in the state politics. The young politician gives his all efforts in constructing a new Odisha and strengthening the party organization. He never left any responsibility given by the party or public. He has completed around one year as the organisational secretary of BJD and proved the chief’s decision right. In Odisha, people says Karma hi Bhagaban ‘Work is God’, that reflects in the life of Bobby. Either in Naveen’s Cabinet or as a simple member, Bobby always in touch with the public and working hard to solve all the issues. In 2019, he was appointed as the In-Charge of membership collection drive of BJD. Bobby showed his capability by collecting more than one crore member in just 4 months.
The ruling party has witnessed so many power corridors since its birth in 1997. After the main power of party Chief Naveen Patnaik there are galaxies of leaders who have got the decisive power in the party. According to reports, previously Pinaki Mishra, Arun Sahoo, Sanjay Das Burma, Kalpataru Das and Prafulla Ghadai had the absolute power in the party in their respective tenure. But now the whole power of the ruling party is stored in the hands of Bobby.
All the above leaders have utilized their power in the party with organizational skills and leadership quality. But no one then, who has the absolute power and took decision for party welfare with his own style. Bobby the only one leader who have the guts and ability to maintain the party work and attract the public towards BJD. Once people say, that Naveen’s power corridor belongs to “KPP” (Kalpatru, Pinaki & Prafulla). But now the whole power belongs to one lion, Pranab Prakash Das. According to party sources, Bobby is most loyalist person of CM. Naveen also gives the highest priority to him.
The Jajpur legislator bestows his whole life in public service. He is not yet married and no plan to do so. He just wants to spend his whole time and attention on the welfare of the common men. Alike our beloved CM Naveen Patnaik, Bobby wishes to engage himself in various developmental programmes of the party as well as of his constituency. He thinks that marital life may disturb or distract him from selfless public service. According to his fans, Bobby has no interest in any other thing. He wants to involve himself in developmental works day and night. Once veteran politician and former MLA, Ashok Das was an aide and very close to the Tall man Biju Babu and now his son Pranab Prakash Das is said to be the right hand of our Chief Minister. According to the public of Jajpur, the son is the carbon copy of his father. Ashok dedicated his life for selfless public service and now Bobby as well.
Ashok Das was an Indian politician. He joined the Jay Prakash Movement in 1974 and was Political prisoner under MISA. He was member of Swatantra Party, Utkal Congress, Janata Party (Secular), Janata Dal and Biju Janata Dal. He was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Korei in 1974, 1977, 1990, 1995 and 2000. He was Leader of Opposition in Odisha Legislative Assembly from 1996 to 1997 post death of Biju Babu. According to the public views, the attitude of Pranab on selfless public service and organizational skills are in his blood which were hereditary. Hard work made Ashok success in political career as well as took him close to the supreme power and now Bobby following his father’s foot step.
