Niranjan Pujari Presents Annual State Budget-2020 in Assembly

Bhubaneswar (Mrutyunjaya Bhoi): Finance Minister of Odisha state, Niranjan Pujari presented the Budget 2020-21 in Assembly today.
Economic growth of Odisha estimated at 6.16% as compared to national growth rate of 5%. Our government allocates Rs 3195 crore for KALIA scheme for 2020-21, said the Finance Minister.
By giving special attention to farmers of the state, the Government has proposed Rs 705 cr for interest-free agriculture loan to farmers under KALIA Scheme and allocated Rs 19,408 crore for Agriculture.
For flood water management, the new budget has a provision of Rs 1060 crore allocation which will be spent on flood control and flood water management.
The Budget presentation is underway at the Assembly and more details are awaited.
