Nine Transgender Students from Bhadrak Clear Matric Exam, Set Inspiring Example

Bhadrak: In an inspiring milestone, nine transgender students from Charampa in Odisha’s Bhadrak district have successfully cleared the matriculation examination, the results of which were announced two days ago.

The students, who studied at Sarojini Sanskrit High School and appeared for the exams at the RCVL High School centre, overcame significant social and personal challenges to achieve this success. Despite facing societal discrimination, work responsibilities, and limited support, their determination to pursue education remained unwavering.

Their success not only marks a personal triumph but also represents a larger step forward for inclusivity and empowerment of the transgender community. The achievement has been hailed as a beacon of hope and motivation for others facing similar struggles.
