Newborn Girl Found In Plastic Bag

Balangir: A newborn girl child was rescued by people from a plastic bag at Khalikani village under Sadar police station in Balangir district on Friday.

Locals first spotted the plastic bag inside which the infant was lying. The baby was immediately admitted to the Bhimabhoi Hospital for treatment.

It is unclear who has abandoned the baby in this condition. Police upon receiving the information reached the spot and launched an investigation to find the parents of the child.
