NCW Holds Final Review Consultation on Cyber Laws for Women

New Delhi: The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken a significant step toward strengthening legal protections for women in the digital space. The commission hosted its Final Review Consultation on Cyber Laws for Women at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, with key dignitaries in attendance, including Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar.

The consultation aimed to review and finalize proposed amendments to existing cyber laws, ensuring they effectively address challenges faced by women in cyberspace. As online safety and empowerment remain critical concerns in the digital era, the discussion focused on enhancing legal and constitutional safeguards for women.

Dr. Satyajit Naik, DIG, Eastern Range, Balasore, participated as a special invitee in this national-level discussion. The event brought together experts and stakeholders to share insights and recommendations on strengthening cyber laws to protect women from online threats.
