Naveen clears 6 New Projects

Bhubaneswar:5-11-18:OdishaChief Minister  Naveen Patnaik has cleared six mega manufacturing projects worth ₹ 25, 845 crore, ahead of flagship biennial business event ‘Make In Odisha Conclave’ to be held from November 11-15. The projects include ₹ 6,500 crore chemical plant of Vedanta at Dhamra, ₹ 6,483 crore alumina refinery project of Vedanta at Lanjigarh, ₹ 1,240 crore expansion of Vedanta’s aluminum smelter at Bhurkhamunda, ₹ 5, 522 crore project of NALCO at Kamakhyanagar, ₹ 5, 000 crore aluminum project of Hindalco Industries at Lapanga and ₹ 1,100 crore flexible packaging plant of Chiripal Poly Films. The projects have a potential to generate 13,700 jobs.
