Naidu Praises Sasmit in Odia

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Rajya Sabha Member Sasmit Patra of Biju Janata Dal has again drawn praises from Chairman and Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu for his views and articulation in Odia language while reiterating the demand for passage of Women’s Reservation Bill in the house today.

The Vice President applauded Sasmit in Odia language by saying  “Tumara Bhasa Re Ati Sundar Kahile” (Well Said). It is the fourth time in the last 16 months that the Vice President has praised Sasmit for his articulation, presentation and oration  in the House.

During Zero Hour, Sasmit raised the demand for passage of Women’s Reservation Bill. Speaking in Odia, the MP stated that women empowerment is extremely important in the nation and especially in the context of economic, social and political empowerment.
