Moving car catches fire in state capital

Bhubaneswar,Dec 26:A moving Honda City car caught fire near Nalco Square in Odisha capital this evening, creating panic among other passersby on road.

However, the driver and other passengers of the car managed to get out in time before flames engulfed the vehicle.

Incident occurred when the car was moving towards Patia from Jaydev Vihar when the mishap took place, source added.

After receiving information, Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot and tried to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is not known.

In a similar incident in August, 2017, a moving Tata Indigo car had caught fire near the Nalco Bhawan at Chandrasekharpur in the city. Likewise, a car had caught fire neat the Reserve Bank of India Regional Office at Kharavel Nagar.
