Monsoon Covers Odisha
Bhubaneswar: The southwest monsoon has covered Odisha and rainfall activity is expected to increase from Wednesday onwards, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In next two days, light to moderate rainfall or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Odisha. The rain is expected to intensify from Wednesday. The national weather forecaster predicted showers at many places in the state between Wednesday and Friday.
Besides, Regional MeT dept in Bhubaneswar issued Yellow Alert for 9 districts- Khordha, Nayagarh, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Rayagada, Jharsuguda & Sundergarh.
