Modi, Naveen Appeal Every Voter to Cast Their Votes
Bhubaneswar: India is celebrating the biggest festival of democracy today as the fourth phase of General elections 2024 is underway at 10 states and Union Territories. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik have appealed every voters to join the festival and cast their priceless votes.
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) handles, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Voting is being held today in 96 seats of 10 states and union territories in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. I am confident that people will vote in large numbers in all these seats, in which youth and women voters will participate in large numbers. Come, let us perform our duty and strengthen democracy!”
He in another tweet mentioned, “Assembly elections are going to start today in Odisha. I call upon the people of the state to assert their right to vote. Your vote is your voice – say it loud and clear.”
Meanwhile, Odisha CM and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik tweeted, “Your every vote will strengthen the foundation of democracy. Lead the trend of development. Join the great celebration of democracy by voting in large numbers in General Election 2024. #GeneralElections2024.”
