Modi lauds Odisha CM for impressive governance

Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday lauded Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi for his impressive governance in past one year.

In his address to the public at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar on the occasion of the first anniversary of the BJP government in Odisha, the Prime Minister praised the Odisha Chief Minister and his team for their impressive performance over the past year, calling it a year of good governance in Odisha.

The PM said the first year of the BJP government in Odisha has been entirely focused on public service and earning people’s trust. He noted that the Odisha government has successfully completed one year, laying the foundation for a brighter and more accountable future for the state.

The Prime Minister also emphasized on how Double Engine Government has been fulfilling all the guarantees given during elections. “For a long time, poor families in Odisha were not able to avail the benefits of Ayushman Yojana. But now both Ayushman Bharat Jan Arogya Yojana and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana are being implemented in the state. As a result, about three crore people in Odisha will get free treatment,” he mentioned.
