Moderate Rainfall Likely In Southern Parts Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Dec 28: The regional meterological department today predicted moderate rainfall for seven districts of the southern part of Odisha.

The weather will be cloudy in Odisha. Moderate rainfall is likely in few places of the southern districts including Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Malkangiri, Rayagada and Gajapati, the regional MeT said.However, the cold wave condition will prevail in northern parts of the state in Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Baripada, Balasore and Anugul.

Besides, the chilly weather will continue in other parts of the state.

As the weather will be partly cloudy in some places including Bhubaneswar, the cold will not be intense and will return after the sky becomes clear, the MeT department said.
