Minor OAS Reshuffle in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today effected a minor reshuffle of the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers and transferred and gave new assignments to two of them.

As per the General Administration & Public Grievance (GA&PG) Department, the OAS officers who were transferred and given new assignments are Ashok Kumar Behera and Sridhar Nayak.

“Ashok Kumar Behera, OAS (SS), Director, Export, Promotion & Marketing (EPM), Odisha, Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as Director (R&R), Water Resources Department,” read the notification issued by the GA&PG Department.

“Sridhar Nayak, OAS (SS), Secretary. State Information Commission, Odisha, Bhubaneswar is transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Government, FS & CW Department,” it added.

Earlier on April 24, the State government had transferred as many as 11 OAS officers and placed them in various positions in different places. The officers are Tapan Mahapatra Kumar, Binod Bihari Behera, Subhransu Sahoo, Sumati Panda, Janmejay Behera, Adyasha Rath, Rashmirekha Amanta, Md. Firoz Khan, Shivani Dash, Nistha Mohapatra and Rituparna Mahapatra.
