Meenakshi Bahinipati Named Odisha Mahila Congress President

Koraput: The Indian National Congress on Sunday appointed Meenakshi Bahinipati as the new President of the Odisha Pradesh Mahila Congress, the women’s wing of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC).

The announcement was made through an official press release by K.C. Venugopal, General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). The statement confirmed that Congress President has approved Bahinipati’s appointment with immediate effect.

“The Hon’ble Congress President has approved the proposal for the appointment of Smt. Meenakshi Bahinipati as President of the Mahila Congress, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, with immediate effect,” the release stated.

Bahinipati’s appointment comes as part of the party’s ongoing organisational restructuring in Odisha, aimed at strengthening grassroots leadership and enhancing women’s representation within the party.
