Manoj Parida Named Odisha Chief Information Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has appointed retired IAS officer Manoj Kumar Parida as the new Chief Information Commissioner of the Odisha Right to Information (RTI) Commission.
Parida, a veteran bureaucrat from the AGMUT cadre, brings extensive administrative experience to his new role, where he is expected to strengthen transparency and accountability in governance.
Alongside Parida, the government has also appointed three new Information Commissioners—retired IPS officer Pranabindu Acharya, High Court advocate Kalpana Pattnaik, and retired IAS officer Pabitra Mandal.
The appointments aim to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the RTI Commission in addressing public grievances and ensuring timely dissemination of information.
