Man Reported Missing After Jumping into Mahanadi River in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A distressing incident was reported on Thursday morning, where a man has gone missing after allegedly jumping into the Mahanadi River from Chaurpur bridge in Sambalpur

The man is identified as Samiran Pradhan, a resident of Patulidhipa village under Naktideul block, Pradhan was employed with a private company and resided in Sambalpur with his wife and two children in a rented house.

According to the Sources, on the morning of the incident, Pradhan’s scooter, slippers, and mobile phone were found on the bridge.

In response to the situation, the fire services personnel were immediately alerted and swiftly arrived at the location to initiate a search operation.
