Man Held for ₹2.5 Crore Extortion with Intimate Videos

Bengaluru: A man was arrested for allegedly blackmailing his girlfriend with intimate videos and extorting ₹2.5 crore, luxury gifts, and a car from her.

According to reports, the two met during their time in boarding school and later fell in love. During multiple trips together, the accused secretly recorded their intimate moments, claiming the videos were for memories.

However, he later used the footage to blackmail the victim, demanding large sums of money, expensive watches, and a luxury car. His escalating demands eventually prompted the woman to file a police complaint.

The police arrested the accused and recovered ₹2.5 crore in cash and a luxury car. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
