Man Ends Life After Death of Ailing Wife

Balangir: By giving a lesson of love to all, a man committed suicide following the death of his ailing wife at Dabari village in the Kantabanji area of Balangir district.

Godhan Mallick is the deceased person. His wife was suffering from kidney problem. This man spent a lot of money on her treatment. But the woman could not be saved. Chandrakala passed away last night.

A few hours after her death, her husband Godhan reportedly hanged self from a tree in his field on Monday morning. According to the villagers, till her last breath, Godhan had tried his best to save his wife. Chandrakala died at around 11 pm on Sunday. Aggrieved by the death of his wife, Godhan took the tragic step.
