Man Duped of Over Rs 10 Lakh in Bhubaneswar

(Pramit Pramathes) Bhubaneswar: A man was allegedly duped more than Rs 10 lakh in Bhubaneswar over false assurance of a job at Indian Oil Corporation Limited. As per a complaint lodged by Sagar Kumar Padhi, whi is residing at Jagamohan Nagar here under Khandagiri police station, registered a complaint that a man named Suresh Barik of Nayagarh took the amount from the complainant after assuring him to provide job at IOCL.

However, the Suresh failed to do so. As Sagar called Suresh and asked him to return the money. Suresh abused and threatened Sagar by phone.

On the basis of the complaint, police have registered a case under Sections 420, 294 and 507 of the IPC and started the probe.
