Major maoist camp busted in Odisha-Jharkhand border

Rourkela: In a Maoist crackdown, the security personnel seized Improvised explosive Device (IEDs) in Saranda jungle from the Odisha-Jharkhand border.
As many as 16 IEDs weighing around 2 kg were seized by the Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF). The Saranda jungle falls under the investigative jurisdiction of Chaibasa tokel police limits.
According to sources, the IEDs were planted to target these officials. They were reportedly tiffin bombs.
Jharkhand Jaguars and CRPF, officials of Chiabasa, Saraikela and Kharasuan police carried out the search operation.
Continues searches are conducted at the Saranda jungles as top maoists Asim Mandal, Misir and Mochu Anmol are actively operating from the jungles.
