Low pressure over Andaman Sea: Heavy rainfall in Coastal Odisha expected

(Reporters Today, Bhubaneswar): A low-pressure was formed over the North Andaman Coast on Monday morning, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in a release.
According to the Met Bhubaneswar Centre, the low-pressure will move in the west-north-west direction and very likely concentrate into a depression over the east-central Bay of Bengal within the next 72 hours by November 7 and then move towards the north-north-west direction.
The Met department predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and during next 2 days and isolated heavy to very heavy falls in many parts of Coastal Odisha for subsequent 3 days.
Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the east-Central Bay of Bengal and those who have gone for deep-sea fishing should return by October 5.
