Low pressure expected to develop in 12 hours

Bhubaneswar: Low pressure to develop in the next 12 hours forecast the MeT department on Sunday. A cyclonic circulation is active near the Gangetic West Bengal and the adjoining area of Odisha.

As a result of the cyclonic circulation, in the next 12 hours a low pressure area will be developed.

This is likely to bring rainfall in the state of Odisha.

On the other hand, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts have been issued a warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall. At some places surface wind is likely to blow at 30 to 40 kmph. These two districts have been issued an orange warning.

For thunderstorm and lightning 17 districts have been issued a yellow warning. For Monday, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Bargarh have been issued a yellow warning. Heavy to very heavy rainfall expected in these three districts.
