Lord Jagannath’s darshan to remain suspended from 6.00 pm today

Puri: In preparation for Bahuda Yatra and on the occasion of ‘Sandhya Darshan’ today, the darshan of Lord Jagannath at the Singhadwara of Sri Gundicha temple will be shut from 6.00 pm today.

After the ‘Sodha’ of the Holy deity siblings, several rituals will be conducted in the Sri Gundicha Temple.

On the Bahuda Yatra which falls on July 5 (Saturday) this year, the Lords will go back to their abode at Srimandir.

The devotees can witness the Lords sojourn on Bahuda Yatra. This is after staying for 9 days at their maternal aunt’s house at Saradhabali in Gundicha temple.

Thus, for the smooth conduct of the rituals this move of suspending the darshan was taken.
