Little wonder of Odissi

Seven-year-old Angelina Avnee mesmerised audience with her moves at the Odissi International Festival in the city.

During the Odissi International Festival that was organized in the city last week, seven-year-old Odissi dancer Angelina with her excellent ‘abhinaya’, grace and gestures elicited applause and appreciation from connoisseurs.

She is a child prodigy. Her dance was a perfect blend of ‘nritta’ and ‘abhinaya’ and her expertise in the art was visible in the performance.

She is a disciple of Bengaluru-based Odissi danseuse Madhulita Mohapatra,the founder of Nrityantar Academy
