LIC Shares Climb 3 pc After Earnings Announcement

NEW DELHI: Shares of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) climbed 3 per cent on Friday after the company reported a 10 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 10,461 crore in the June 2024 quarter.

The stock jumped 3 per cent to Rs 1,159.60 on the BSE.

At the NSE, it climbed 3 per cent to Rs 1,160 apiece.
