Leaves of IPS officers cancelled in Odisha

The Additional Secretary to Government of Odisha, Home Department, Trilochan Majhi, ordered the Director General of Police, Odisha to cancel leave of IPS officers.

The letter read, “I am directed to state that in view of the emerging stiutation inthe country, it is decided not to allow any IPS officer to proceed on leave/ training/ LTC unit further orders. No IPS officer should also be allowed to leave Headquarters without prior permission of the concern DG/ Spl DG.”

Earlier, the General Administration and PG Department in a letter had cancelled the leaves of all RDCs, Collectors and District magistrates (DM) in the wake of the India-Pakistan tensions.
