Lady Journalist Found Dead on Railway Tracks

Bhubaneswar: The Mutilated body of a lady journalist on a web channel was reportedly found on railway tracks near the Bapuji Nagar area in Bhubaneswar today. The woman journalist identified as Madhumita Parida, who was working in a noted web channel of Odisha, reportedly ended her life at around 8-9 PM today allegedly due to family disputes. It is suspected that Madhumita committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) reached the spot after getting information about her death seized the body and sent it to the Capital Hospital for postmortem. The Commissionerate Police has started an investigation into the matter and is likely to hand over the body to the family members after completing the autopsy. Meanwhile, a purported video reportedly recorded by Parida before her death has gone viral. In the video, she can be heard alleging her husband of having an extra-marital affair which promoted her to take the extreme step.
“Mummy sorry. I am extremely sorry for what I am going to do. I say sorry to everyone. I never knew there were such fraud people in the world. I married on March 1 after five years of love relationship. But my husband is cheating on me. He is in a relationship with another woman. He talks to my friends and his friends till 1-2 AM. I came to know about it and that was my mistake. When I came to know, he said that I cannot live with you anymore…,” Madhumita says in the video while crying continuously.
