KV Singh Deo represents India in international conference in Bhutan

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo visited Bhutan to represent India in the South Asia Labor Mobility Conference organized by the World Bank.
The South Asia Labor Mobility Conference is being organized by the World Bank will held for two days on the 20th and 21st May in Thimphu, Bhutan.
The Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment and Energy is currently holding the post of Chairman of the Task Force on Distressed Migration. In this context, he will represent India in the international conference organized by the World Bank and discuss various issues. Participation in the above mentioned conference will be very helpful in finding a permanent solution, policy formation to the problem of migrant workers.
Principal Secretary, Labour and Employees State Insurance Chitra Arumugam also has accompanied the Deputy CM. About 100 people including representatives from Bhutan, Middle East countries, North Africa, Italy, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Jamaica, Bangladesh, representatives of the World Bank and government officials will participate in the conference.
