Krushi Odisha to felicitate best farmers of the state

Bhubaneswar, Jan 11: CM to inaugurate the Krushi Odisha-2019 which scheduled to be held from 15-19 January, 2019 in collaboration with confederation of Indian industries (CII).

The key objective of the programme is to showcase the power of farming and agriculture industry in the state and highlight the investment opportunity in this sector.

During the five days programme it has been proposed to hold 9 conferences and seminars on various issues relating to agriculture. Eminent speakers and resource person from different organi8sations will address the programme.

Apart from that 120 best farmers from 30 districts will be awarded in this occasion.

Departments like Agriculture,ARD,Fisheries Horticulture, Private business sectors including seed fertilizers,pesticide,implement and equipment Irrigation system pump set,diffderent animal  feed are also be displayed in exhibition for which there is provision  of around 150-170 commercial stalls.

Road shows have been organised in New Delhi as well as Puri, Baripada and Sundargarh to create awareness among the farmers of Odisha.
