Koraput SP Police Conduct Surprise Raid In Jeypore Sub Jail

Jeypore (Reporters Today Bureau): Police Conduct Surprise Raid in Odisha’s Jeypore Sub Jail in Koraput district today early morning.

The team of police led by Koraput SP Varun Guntupalli included two DSPs and three inspectors.

According to the sources, the team conducted the raid in the jail and seized mobile phones and several other incriminating materials.

Jeypore Sub-Collector Hemakanta Say, Additional SP Utkal Ranjan Das, Jeypore Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Arup Abhishek Behera, and Borigumma SDPO Harekrushna Majhi were also present during the raid at the jail.

However, the exact reason behind the raids is yet to be revealed. Further details awaited.
