Odisha Under 17 girls Football Team won silver in KIYG
(Surjit Kumar Dhal) Guwahati: The Women under 17 football team of Odisha got silver medal in 3rd edition of Khelo India youth games which were organized at Guwahati, the capital of Assam. The result of the match finishes with Odisha-1, Haryana-3.
In today’s match with Haryana, team Odisha’s Sarita Soren put only one goal when the opponent team scores 3 goals. Sarita scores her only goal by a corner kick in the last 55th minute, which helps our state team to get bronze medal. It’s not a moment to be sad but a light of hope for the betterment of our game.
The coach of the state team Mrs Mamata Kumari Samanta’s role is most important for which the team can able to achieve the place.
