Keonjhar Lecturer Detained for Attempted Rape of Student

Keonjhar: A lecturer from a government college in Keonjhar has been detained by police for allegedly attempting to rape a female student.

According to sources, the student had visited the lecturer’s residence to seek clarification on academic matters. However, the lecturer allegedly took advantage of the situation and attempted to assault her.

Following the incident, the student lodged a complaint at Keonjhar Town Police Station. Acting swiftly, police detained the lecturer for questioning.

Authorities are also interviewing the student to gather further details regarding the allegations. The investigation is ongoing.
