Kendrapara to Get Logistics Park, Multi-Specialty Hospital

Bhubaneswar: Kendrapara district in Odisha is set to witness significant infrastructure development with proposals for a logistics park and a multi-specialty hospital, according to a statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today.
A voluntary organization has submitted a proposal to establish a charitable multi-specialty hospital in Kendrapara and has requested land allocation for the project, the CMO informed.
In addition, the state government is planning to construct a barrage across the Luna River to safeguard flood-prone areas in Garadpur and Pattamundai blocks. The government has also initiated the process for setting up a logistics park and a cold storage facility to strengthen the district’s economic infrastructure.
Efforts are underway to boost eco-tourism at Dangamal, while infrastructure enhancements are being planned at the historic Buddhist sites of Lalitgiri to attract more tourists, the CMO added.
The district administration is expediting key projects, including drinking water supply and other developmental works.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the developmental initiatives for Kendrapara in a meeting held today with local MP Baijayant Panda. Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissioner Anu Garg, and other senior officials were present during the discussions.
