Kendrapada: 20 Students Injured in Bee Attack

Kendarpada: In a tragic piece of news, more than 20 students were injured in a bee attack in Kendarpara district of Odisha on Thursday. According to reports the bee attack injured over 20 children in the district. The incident took place at Fakirabad Higher Primary School at Derabishi block in Kendrapara district. The bees reportedly attacked while the school’s annual function was underway.

The injured students have been admitted to Derabishi Medical College in Kendarpara. Further reports awaited. This is a developing story. Recently on December 16, honey bee attack was witnessed during the protest by workers of the Congress party in front of the residence of IAS Bishnupada Sethy in Bhubaneswar.

As per reports, the Congress workers staged a protest in front of the residence of IAS Bishnupada Sethy in Bhubaneswar of Odisha today. At this juncture it was witnessed that a big swarm of honey bees ventured to the venue and started attacking the people who were present there. It was seen that people there including media personnel, party workers and police personnel preferred to sit down to avoid the attack by the honey bees.
