Kalahandi: Girl gang-raped video goes viral

Bhawanipatna: A video of girl getting gang-raped has been doing rounds on social media. The incident occurred near Jaring forest near National Highway-26 between Junagarh and Bhawanipatna.

As per an FIR lodged by the victim, an AMN student, with Junagarh police yesterday, she was returning home from Bhawanipatna on a two-wheeler with a youth on September 14 around 2 pm when 5-6 armed miscreants intercepted the vehicle on the NH. They forcibly took her to the forest where they raped her at knifepoint, she alleged. Police have started investigation into the incident and efforts were on identify and apprehend the wrongdoers.
