Kalabaisakhi to Lash Odisha Till May 7

Bhubaneswar: The Kalabaisakhi rains in Odisha are lashing out. The rains are likely to continue till May 7. Eight districts have been issued orange warning for lightning and thunderstorm along with hailstorm.

These districts include Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Gajapati and Ganjam. The gusty surface wind is likely to blow at a speed of 50 to 60 kmph.

The IMD has issued yellow warning to 22 districts for kalabaisakhi rains. The downpour can be expected till May 7. The temperature during the day is not likely to change in the upcoming five days. In the next two days however, in some districts the temperature may rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
