Kalabaisakhi creates havoc, over 80 houses destroyed in Mayurbhanj’s Karanjia

Karanjia: The Kalabaisakhi has wreaked havoc yet again in Mayurbhanj and destroyed around 80 houses in Rarua and Sukruli block in Karanjia. The wrath of Kalabaisakhi was turned fierce in Rarua block.

In the Rarua block’s Angarpada and Rarua Gram Panchayat around 60 houses were destroyed. Even the quarters of the Block Development Officer (BDO) were not spared by the destruction. The rain waters also entered his house.

In Sukruli block heavy rains were witnessed. Along with the rains, hailstorms destroyed over 20 houses in the block.
