Journalist Killed in Road Accident in Balasore

Balasore: In a tragic incident on State Highway-19 near Bhalukasuni Chhak, a 38-year-old journalist, Sanjeev Behera, was fatally struck by a fuel-laden truck while riding his motorcycle from Soro towards Udala.

Behera, a resident of Dahisada village near Soro, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The truck driver fled immediately after the collision.

Nilgiri police responded promptly, transporting Behera’s body to Nilgiri Sub-Divisional Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Authorities have launched an investigation and are actively working to apprehend the absconding truck driver.
