IPS Soumya Mishra’s New Assignment in Odisha Police

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): The Odisha government appointed Telangana cadre IPS Soumya Mishra as the Additional DG Fire Services and Home Guards. A notification on IPS Soumya’s appointment was issued by the Home Department today.

Soumya, the 1994 batch Odia IPS officer, joined in Odisha on inter cadre deputation from Telangana State.

IPS officer Satyajit Mohanty will continue to head the Fire Services wing as DGP (Fire Services and Home Guards).
