Indian Navy helicopter makes emergency landing at farmland in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: An Indian Navy helicopter made an emergency landing today in a paddy field at Amarada village under Rasagovindapur block of Mayurbhanj district due to a technical snag.

Farmers working in the field were startled as the helicopter hovered low over their crops before safely landing in an open field to avoid damaging the paddy. Curious locals quickly gathered at the scene to observe the aircraft.

According to reports, the pilot and crew members were unharmed. The pilot spent around 30 minutes addressing the technical issue before the helicopter resumed its journey. After a 45-minute halt, the aircraft successfully took off.
